"The primary purpose of these town hall meetings is to invite my constituents to share their views with me on issues impacting our nation," said Doolittle. "I am currently formulating my legislative agenda for the next two years, and I would appreciate the thoughts and counsel of those I represent."
Last month, the congressman unveiled a plan aimed at more open and direct communication with his constituents. One of the central elements of the plan is to provide people with direct access to their federal representative through public meetings. The town hall format allows for people to offer input, ask questions, and receive unfiltered communication.
The public is welcome to participate in meetings to be held in the following communities:
Placerville
