American River Conservancy offers Kid's Discovery Day - Living with Lions

Emily Cunnison of the Mountain Lion Foundation will talk about the senses and natural history of mountain lions. There will be a discussion about kids and staying safe in mountain lion territory. Kids will work on a craft and then play a game to learn how far mountain lions range and how they stake their territory. 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. American River Conservancy Nature Center, 348 Highway 49, Coloma $3 per child, non members $5 per child For more information contact: Pre-registration required.
