History Exhibit of the Candy Store Art Gallery once on Sutter Street, Folsom; it became world renown in the 1970s as a tiny avant-garde gallery owned by Adeliza McHugh. It featured young, unknown local artists and outsider art from across the U.S. The exhibition, at Folsom History Museum on Old Sutter Street, features a retrospective of work shown from 1961--1991, and highlights Adeliza's extraordinary life; opening reception Apr. 3, 2-5pm; call for museum hours, 916-985-2707.
