Georgia O Keefe, whose desert painting won recognition and respect;
Frida Kahlo, who overcame severe pain, finding passion in art; Lola
Montez, a woman of questionable morals who danced into the hearts of
many; also silent auction, live music, refreshments; 2-4pm, Folsom
Community Center; $20 adult; $10 children 12-17 (not for under 12);
tickets only in advance at museum, 916-985-2707. |
