Hike * Emigrant Lake, 7:30am-4pm, free moderate hike of about 8 miles. The first two and a quarter miles is easy since the trail follows the shoreline of Caples Lake. After reaching the south end of Caples lake, the trail has a moderate climb of two miles to Emigrant Lake. Beautiful lake set in a glacial cirque. Minimum age is hardy 10 year olds.
