2nd Annual American River Music Festival

Hits : 867
From Friday, September 19 2008 - 10:00am
To Sunday, September 21 2008 - 5:00pm
Each  week

American River Music is excited to announce tickets are now on sale for the
2nd Annual American River Music Festival,
www.americanrivermusicfestival.org, in the beautiful Coloma-Lotus river
valley.  So put it in your calendars...September 19-21.  Adult ticket prices
are single-day main stage = $35, two-day main stage = $59, camping all music
= $89, camping/rafting all music = $189, all inclusive = $219 (includes
Fri/Sat dinner and Sat/Sun morning breakfast).  There are lots of lodging
upgrades in our campgrounds too.

You'll be treated to some terrific American and Canadian Roots music
including Gandolf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, Steppin' In
It, Joe Craven with Sam Bevin, Blame Sally, The Refugees, Ray Bonneville,
John Wort Hannam, David Jacobs-Strain quartet, Keith Greeninger with Dayan
Kai, The Buccaneers, The Dulcimer Girls and Jonny Mojo.

We have over 22 performances and workshops scheduled this year including a
Joe Craven led jam on the Friday River Trip down the gorge on the South Fork
of the American, live music on a beautiful naturalist guided river front
hike, over 9 performances/workshops in our riverfront campgrounds and, OF
COURSE, the MAIN STAGE at the beautiful Lotus Park.

Buy a ticket online and you're automatically entered to win a solid mahogany
body, made in America, limited edition Guild acoustic guitar donated by
Nicholson Music Company.  Be one of our first 100 orders and we'll double
your entries to the drawing.  Our site has the details.

The festival is a fundraising event for American River Music, a charitable
organization with a mission "to teach, inspire and enjoy music".  We think
we're on the right track when we get feedback from folks like S.W. of
Placerville who said about last year's festival, "I had the wonderful
experience of attending the Music Festival yesterday. I can't say enough
about how much I enjoyed it. I have told all my co-workers and will also
tell all my friends that we MUST go next year. The musicians were absolutely
spectacular. The setting was so beautiful. I can't imagine a more enjoyable
day."

We'd sure appreciate it if you'd lend your support by telling a friend!

All the best,

Matt Semonsen
