Nick Jaina began his adult life in 1999 by jumping in a van with a vagabond and moving from California to New Orleans. While there, Nick painted faces in the streets during Madri Gras, worked in a restaurant in the French Quarter, and was given half a map to the rest of his life. He has since relocated to Portland, Oregon, where he has found an amazing and supportive music scene, centered around the label HUSH Records. In 2007 Nick toured many odd places, including Finland, Alaska, Spokane and Placerville. He found some time to record songs on an old piano that became the album WOOL. "Wool is the moment that Jaina arrives.
