Flying just below the radar, singer Johnny Starlings has set toes to tapping and kept the ladies sighing all up and down his native coast.His songs have been featured on NPR’s “A Prairie Home Companion” and his group’s freshman full-length album, “The Johnny Starlings-Aiming Too High,” was received with glowing reviews and hearty enthusiasm.Its follow-up, a five-song E.P. released in December of 2007, is entitled Be My Baby Bright and features some of The Johnny Starlings’ best work to date.
