John Young may be more familiar to you than you know, and if you like original music in a similar style to Genesis, Sting, Peter Gabriel, King Crimson and Coldplay then you won't be disappointed.
John started learning the piano at the age of 5 and singing in the Liverpool Cathedral Choir from the age of 7 he left school at 18 with O' and A' Level Music and Grade VIII piano.
After playing in local bands he got his first major break working with Uli Jon Roth of the Scorpions on a world tour in 1985. From then on many bands used John's services, two European tours with Asia in the late 80's were followed by stints with Paul Rodgers in The Law and John Wetton and Carl Palmer in Qango. In recent years John co-wrote music with Fish (Fellini Days) and John Wetton (Arkangel and Rock of Faith) and to square the circle he recently completed a world tour with The Scorpions for their Acoustica project.
