Help celebrate the city of Placerville's
Founder's Day over 150 years ago, just a few miles from where gold was
first discovered in Coloma, California. Historic Main Street in
Placerville closes to host living history exhibits, firemen's
mini-muster, hands-on demonstrations, gold-panning, period games,
contests and music, stagecoach rides, a working saloon, model A cars,
and more. Street Faire from 2pm to 6pm. Then, a Street Dance will
