For two days Coloma will be packed with images, sounds & hands-on experiences dating back to the 1850's. Step back in time & experience the California Gold Rush. Live history tent encampments recreate Gold Rush history. Attend talks about the golddiscovery & Sutter's Mill. Live music, historic trade demonstrations & a merchants market. Gold panning contests, sawmill demonstrations & historical reenactments 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, 8 miles north on highway 49 from Placerville in Coloma.
