From Monday, October 1 2007 - 8:00am To Wednesday, October 31 2007 - 5:00pm Each week
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Blue Shield of California and the El Dorado Women's Center, a non-profit agency serving domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and their families, are looking for local residents to "roll the dice for a good cause." EDWC is asking existing Bunco groups to play in October and donate your usual Bunco pot to Women’s Center programs. Don't know how to play Bunco? No problem – the Women’s Center will provide a Bunco kit with everything you need. Bunco is a parlor game played in teams with dice.
The El Dorado Women’s Center Bunco fundraising events take place October 1 - 31, but residents can sign up now to host Bunco parties.
Participants donate all of their proceeds to the El Dorado Women's Center.
Contact Paula Lee at the El Dorado Women’s Center at (916) 939-4464 or (530) 626-1450 or paulaL@edwomenscenter.org to sign up, start a group, join a group or obtain Bunco host kits.
