Poetry Out Loud
Poetry Out Loud is a national competition at the high school level that encourages memorization and recitation of great poetry. It is funded nationally through the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation, and locally this year through a Women's Fund impact grant to El Dorado Arts Council. Finalist from seven county high school will participate at the POL County finals at Imagination Theater at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. Come support our local teens at an event that is fun, inspiring and free to the public!
